Introduction
Welcome to my webpage! Here are a some fun facts about myself:
1. I am a Competitive Swimmer - The long hours of insane practices and boring meets have accumulated over the past 13 years. After swimming competitively since I was 5 years old, it has become somewhat of a lifestyle for me. The faint smell of chlorine follows me always and my hair is never as smooth and healthy as it should be. The long and challenging practices are worth it because there is an immense feeling of pride knowing that I have worked so hard!
2. I am Addicted to Gum - Very rarely will you see me without a piece of gum in my mouth. My grandma gave me my first piece of gum when I was 2 years old in hopes to get me to stop eating paper - as a toddler I would eat anything paper related! Naturally my family thought gum was a healthy alternative. The texture, the minty taste, and the familiarity is what lures me in every time. The times when I don't have gum, I feel hopelessly lost. Yup I am definitely addicted!
3. I am an Avid Reader - As a child, I thought I would never be a good reader and that I would grow up hating books. Now, I can't imagine my life without books. I love to read because it allows me to experience a life I would otherwise never have the chance to endure. There are so many different writing techniques that authors use, so I find myself continuously reading something structurally unique. But books aren't just a fun way to relax, they are great sources of moral messages. I know I have read a worthy book when all I think about for a week later are the characters and the story; if I walk away without crying, without my heart breaking, without looking at my own life critically, then I haven't read a very good book.
I hope I was able to give you a little inside scoop to my life…
So now please enjoy the rest of my sight. As I go along, I will add some of my new work that will hopefully inspire you to create your own. Writing can come in all sorts of different forms, so let you imagination take over.
